Since my last update my rugrats brought home the plague (or just a cold) but it’s been lingering and a detriment to getting anything accomplished here. Today is slated for cleaning the house since I have a visitor coming tomorrow. Fun times.
Updating the blog since I can’t seem to keep my focus on anything I actually need to accomplish today. So I’ll lay out my book related agenda for myself here and hope that helps with sticking to it.
I did make decent progress on the cover design for Keen Sense last week. Typography is set, the main focus of the image is ready to go, I just need to finalize the background and then noodle it to death.
Hubs has more knowledge of graphic design, so I’ll try to get his eyes on it before a final editing pass sometime this week if the kids ever go to bed on time again. Spoilers: they probably will not. Oh well, there is always the weekend.
The cover should almost definitely be showing up here by the end of the month though because it is close to done.
Now back to editing Sense. If I can focus, I think I can knock out another chapter before I have to call it a day and disinfect all the surfaces. Cheers.
