If you are wondering where this novella fits in the Psions of SPIRE timeline, Weak Link begins in the fall a year after the events of Bright Spark. It can be read as a standalone, but it expands on the existing universe of the series and references certain events and characters.
The main characters are Marc and Zane. Marc appeared briefly in Bright Spark as a camper. Aaron and his roommate Albert worked as his camp counselors the summer after they graduated from Riverton Academy. Zane appears for the first time in Weak Link, his best friend is dating Albert, Aaron’s old roommate. This is their story.
