It’s release day for Psions of SPIRE book 3! I am beyond excited to share my first trans POV characters, Finn and Oliver, with my readers. These two have a special place in my heart and I hope if you’re reading this you enjoy getting to know them too.
Quick Fire takes place three years after Keen Sense with Finn settled into their role as a SPIRE agent and guardian to a teenager. Their team has gotten their groove when it comes to their work and things with SPIRE seem to be functioning scandal-free for the time being.
Oliver had a pre-transition cameo appearance in Keen Sense as one of Oscar’s young patients and is just getting ready to leave home and spread his wings when the story starts. He is well into his transition and has strong family support.
This isn’t a coming out story or a story where being trans is a huge issue. There are elements of their society that don’t accept them, but the people close to them do.
This is a story about two young psions falling in love and facing their inner demons as well as interdimensional monsters, with a dash of government conspiracy intrigue to make things interesting.
