I’ve been on this blog less lately, mostly because my husband is working from home on our desktop and I’ve been writing on my phone so I don’t wander around online as much between writing scenes.
One of the results of having less online distractions is that I wrote Evan Winslow’s story. Evan first shows up in Keen Sense as one of the psions at the prison when Andy has to do empathic inquiries. He shows up again for a brief mention in Quick Fire, and then gets mentioned again in Clear Sight. His story takes place during the timeline of Clear Sight when he meets his love interest, Riley Moore.
I loved writing these guys. Like many of my psions, Evan’s had a rough time, but he finds healing and community. He struggles with anxiety and some previous trauma, but he also builds a found family with the other psions in his life and Riley is a ray of sunshine and a stalwart support for him as he works through his issues.
At the moment New Look is available on Amazon and through a StoryOrigin giveaway, along with some other wonderful stories featuring themes of found family. When the promotion ends in September, it will be entering Kindle Unlimited, so stay tuned for that!

As to psions, I have plans for one more Psions of SPIRE novella before bundling the second half of the series. The bundle will contain a bonus coda short focusing on where the main cast go after Clear Sight. And a new stand alone novel is also in the works, I’ve written about it elsewhere, but it will feature Henry Anselm, the professional anchor Henry’s family hires for him, Will, and Will’s long-time partner Dana, who is non-binary. Will and Henry do engage in some light daddy kink, and I am having a blast writing the dynamic between the three of them.
